Event:Taking Action For Trees! Arlington County Civic Federation

This meeting will prioritize the recommendations from two previous Collaboratives and develop plans for near term action. This event will bring together individuals and organizations who recognize the important environmental, economic, and social benefits of trees and are committed to action to preserve the urban tree canopy individually and through their organizations. With broad consensus on actions the County and private parties should take to preserve and expand our tree canopy, we can create a roadmap to the future. We are pleased that the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) and the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service have joined us as a co-hosts.
