Join ATAG at Our Voices Count Rally - Sat, June 18, 8:15 am, 2100 Clarendon Blvd

Please join ATAG at the  “Our Voices Count” Rally this coming Saturday morning, 8:15 am on the plaza outside 2100 Clarendon Blvd (Courthouse Metro, and free underground parking).  We’ll be joining several other citizens groups to let the Arlington County Board know they must respond more effectively to residents’ concerns.

If you think preserving Arlington’s urban tree canopy, the environment, and preventing the effects of climate change should be a priority for the Board, come join us.  Let your voice be heard.

Of immediate concern to ATAG is the detrimental effect of the “Missing Middle Housing Framework” on the county’s trees.  Tree replanting requirements for new development will be reduced by as much as 50% across the entire county – further accelerating the tree canopy destruction already underway.

Residents have expressed concern about many other County Projects, due to the lack of transparency and limited opportunities for meaningful involvement.  Please join us to let the County Board know – OUR VOICES COUNT!
